Handover acceptance is the step that confirms a project before it is put into use. Below are the 4 handover checks applied when accepting a Kadier epoxy floor.

1. Substrate moisture measurement before installation

Before installation, the moisture content of the concrete substrate is measured and recorded. The result is the basis for deciding whether the substrate already meets the installation conditions or needs further treatment, and it is kept with the handover dossier.

2. Film thickness measurement

After installation, the coating film thickness is measured at representative positions on the floor. The results are recorded for comparison with the system design agreed before installation.

3. Adhesion check

The adhesion of the coating to the substrate is checked by the method agreed before installation. The check results are recorded with the handover dossier.

4. Written acceptance record

After completing the checks above, both parties prepare a written acceptance record, stating the items checked, the results and any items to be remedied (if any). The record is the basis for handover of the project.
