System description
Two-component epoxy floor coating applied by roller: one penetrating primer coat and two topcoats. This is the most common configuration for factory and warehouse floors — balancing cost, application speed, and abrasion resistance under medium loads.
This system uses Kadier products with published technical data (TDS) — build-up table below; mixing ratios, drying times and physical properties are on the Products page.
- Seamless surface, dust-resistant, easy to clean with industrial floor scrubbers.
- Withstands abrasion from forklifts and trolleys at medium intensity.
- Resistant to grease and light chemicals commonly found in production.
- Fast application, can be done zone by zone — limiting full factory shutdowns.
- Zone, walkway, and safety-area line marking with the same coating system.
General technical framework
- Technology: Two-component epoxy; substrate: concrete (meeting standard application conditions).
- System configuration: 1 penetrating primer coat + 2 roller topcoats.
- Standards framework: developed under the TCVN 9014:2011 framework — Epoxy paint.
System build-up and technical data
| Layer | Kadier product | Reference consumption |
|---|---|---|
| Primer | Epoxy Primer | 0.2 kg/m² |
| Intermediate | Epoxy Intermediate Coat (tintable) | 0.3–0.4 kg/m² (depending on substrate) |
| Topcoat | Roller-Applied Epoxy Topcoat | 0.2 kg/m² |

General application process
- Survey the concrete substrate and advise the system configuration based on load and service environment.
- Prepare the substrate to standard application conditions: clean and treat substrate defects before priming.
- Coat 1 — Kadier RC penetrating primer: seals dust and improves adhesion between concrete and the coating system.
- Coats 2–3 — RollCoat RC topcoats: two roller coats spaced by the drying time stated in the TDS.
- Finishing — Zone line marking: line marking paint from the same system, colors per the Kadier color chart.
- Inspect the surface and carry out handover acceptance with the project owner before handover.
